Thank you notes we have received.

Dear Custer County Foundation,

Wow, what a year and half it has been. As my second year of serving the community of Broken Bow is already half over, I feel that Broken Bow Public Schools and the community of Broken Bow can be very proud of their school and how much our students have accomplished this past school year. So far this school year, our activities have competed very well in the 2009 fall campaign at the conference, district and state levels. A lot of improvements to our facilities have been made in the last few months which allow our student athletes to compete at a high level with the up-graded equipment and facilities. The number of compliments from visiting schools, coaches, and their fans on our improved lighting at Mark Russell Field Complex, or the up-dates to our gymnasium with the installation of new scoreboards and lighted backboards has been overwhelming. All of these updates could not have been accomplished without the help of the community of Broken Bow and its business's or foundations.

The Custer County Foundation has supported Broken Bow Public Schools a great deal in recent years and once again you have come to our aid. The $2,000 dollar grant to purchase a new wrestling mat will help our youth in man6y ways to prepare and compete on a quality wrestling mat. Many schools will benefit from the purchase of this new mat as well as our youth wrestling programs. The cost of the mat will be approximately $8,00 dollars and will be placed on display and competed on at the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships in Omaha in February of this season. After the conclusion of the tournament, we will drive to Omaha to transport the wrestling mat back to Broken Bow.

As we look back at the support this project needed to succeed, you cannot help but feel proud and excited about the future of Broken Bow Public Schools and the quality of education and extra curricular activities. A lot od communities could not have accomplished this goal in a short time period. The community of Broken Bow should be proud of how much our business's or private organizations have supported our school system. Without everyone's contributions in the last year and a half, our goals could not have been achieved.

Thank you for your continued support of Broken Bow Public Schools and the activities in which our youth participate. The teachers, the staff, but especially the students at BBPS appreciate your support.

sincerely Yours,

Ryan E Hogue, Asst. Principal/Activities Director

Ed Schaaf, Head Wrestling Coach

Dear Bow Supporter,

The Mark Russel Field Light renovation project is almost complete. The lights and poles have been erected and wait to be hooked up at this time.

As we look back at the support this project needed to succeed, you cannot help but feel proud and excited about the future of Broken Bow Public Schools and the quality of education and extra curricular activities. A lot of communities could have not accomplished this goal in a short time period through fundraiser, donations, and BBPS  Board and Administrative support. The community of Broken Bow should be proud of how much everyone contributed during these trying times of our economy. Without everyone's contributions throughout the year, this goal could not have been achieved.

Thank you for your continued support of Broken Bow Public Schools ans the activities in which our youth participate. The school, the teachers, but especially the  students at BBPS appreciate your support.

Sincerely yours,

Ryan E. Houge
